Annika currently teaches modules in International Criminal Law (LAWM683), Public International Law (LAW2024/3024) and International Law, Conflict and Strategy (LAW2138, LAW3146 and LAW3146A). 

Prior to her appointment at the University of Exeter, Annika taught public law and international criminal law at the University of Nottingham. She holds a first class degree in Law (LLB) and an LLM in International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict with distinction, both from the University of Nottingham. She completed her doctoral thesis, which looks at the use of judicial decisions in international criminal law, at the same institution. In 2012, she was awarded the University of Nottingham Endowed Postgraduate Award for her doctoral research.

Annika’s research interests include international criminal law, post-conflict reconstruction and the judicial development of international law. Annika is currently the director of the University of Exeter's International Law Forum (http://socialsciences.exeter.ac.uk/law/research/groups/internationallawforum/)
