Health and Biomedical Research
Lead: Ariane Hanemaayer and Boglarka Kiss
The group will encourage interdisciplinary conversation around key topics in social studies, philosophy, and history of health and biomedical research. Readings will be organised around the following topics for 2022-23: Term 1 "Risk and Public Health", Term 2 "Pain and it's Management", Term 3, Personalised Medicine. Meetings will occasionally be online. Term 1 dates: 19th October, 9th November & 7 December.

This fortnightly reading group brings together perspectives on biology and the environment by reading a ‘mash-up’ of two papers examining similar questions from different disciplinary contexts.
