Department of Politics and International Relations appoints new Work Placements Co-ordinator

The new Work Placements Co-ordinator for Politics, Benedict Hill was appointed at the start of February to work on a year-long project to increase the delivery of placement activity in the Tremough and Exeter Politics Departments.

Having graduated from Exeter with a BA in Philosophy and Sociology in 2011, Benedict is pleased to be returning to the University. He says: “It is becoming increasingly important to have the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience while doing a degree. The politics department here at Exeter already has a great Summer Internship Programme, where students can gain work experience with MPs in Westminster, and I look forward to working with the staff and students in looking at how we can improve upon and expand the current provision of work experience.”
