Beijing Summer School for Law and Politics students

Dr Greta Bosch in Law is organising the Beijing Summer School for Law and Politics students (postgraduate and undergraduate). The four week long Summer School (in English) will be hosted at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) based in Beijing (27 June – 15 July 2011).

It involves daily lectures and cultural excursions. A pre-departure survival Chinese language course will be provided. Two members of staff will travel with the students.

There are 30 places available. The cost is in the region of £1800 for the four weeks. Students can apply for a scholarship of £1000- of which 20 are available.

The aim is

  • for students to have the opportunity to learn more about subjects from a culturally different perspective, create a global network and possibly further future employability through international experience, and to have a fantastic experience!
  • for staff to create and maintain research links.

For more information, and a guide on how to apply, contact Dr Greta Bosch. Or alternatively you can download an application form here.

Applications by students must be sent to Dr Greta Bosch and the deadline for applications is 13 May 2011, 4pm.
